Community Science: Using Apps to Identify Nature (Sign Up)
Saturday, April 5th, 9 AM – 11 AM
Dvoor Farm, 111 Mine Street, Flemington
Learn how to use apps on your phone to identify local flora and fauna! HLT’s Director of Stewardship and Digital Media, Emily Dunn, will provide a hands-on introduction to eBird, Merlin Bird ID, and iNaturalist – tools that allow you to identify and document the natural world. We will then take a short hike around the Dvoor Farm to practice using them!
This event is free but space is limited – we ask that you RSVP to save your spot!
We are grateful for support of this program by the National Park Service’s Lower Delaware Wild & Scenic River Program, which aims to protect the natural, cultural, and historic values of the Delaware River.
