This is a date change due to heavy rain predicted for our original date of July 9.
We are thrilled to present this group, as a super kid-friendly morning show. We’ll be cooking up some great morning fare for purchase during the show, made with seasonal ingredients from our farm and other producers in our foodshed! We guarantee that the kids will be engaged, and the parents, grandparents, aunts and uncles will have a great time, too!
Annie and Safari Bob Grilli write and sing about the wonders of Nature.
Their shows are interactive and include songs from their 9 nature-themed CD’s. In the last thirty years, they have performed at Avery Fisher Hall, The United Nations, Natural History Museum of L.A., the Bronx Botanical Gardens, the Beardsley Zoo and the Mystic, Norwalk, and Brooklyn Aquariums, in addition to schools, libraries, museums, and city and town parks. Annie has sung the National Anthem at Shea Stadium 3 times and the group was the “house band” at the Bronx Zoo for over 25 years. They are proud to be honorary members of the United Nations Environmental Programme.
Please bring your lawn chairs and blankets, reservations are required for each person over 2. Family friendly, special needs friendly, and the site is accommodating for folks with limited mobility. Just please don’t bring the dog:)
