Cost:               $10 per person donation requested, payable at the beginning of the tour; 100% proceeds go to Frenchtown Presbyterian Church Food Pantry; no donation requested for children under 6 years old

What happens at Phillips Farms during the winter months? Join farmer Marc Phillips for a behind-the-scenes look of winter activities on a working farm. Tour will include:

·     Learn about winter pruning in the orchards

·     Get a peek of spring flowers as you walk through the ornamental production greenhouse

·     See a seeding demonstration in the greenhouse and learn how seeds get planted

·     Walk through the tomato greenhouse and get a quick introduction on how tomatoes are grown in the winter

·     Learn about frost control with a fan demonstration as you tour the fruit orchards and see the apple trees and other fruit plantings in the winter

·     Receive a complimentary Phillips Farms goodie bag for each family, containing surprises from our Milford Farm Market, including a $5 coupon for your next purchase at the Market

Event will be held rain or shine or snow, and regardless of temperature. Wear sturdy shoes and outdoor clothing. Be prepared for a moderately strenuous walk (the terrain will not accommodate strollers or wheelchairs unfortunately). No pets.

Include your phone number, and the first and last names of everyone in your party, and if they are a child or adult. You will receive an email confirming your attendance (no tickets will be sent). We ask that you respect the limited number of reservations available by showing up, as no-shows are a missed opportunity for someone else to join.
